Creative Residency Portfolio

Most of my relevant work is linked within the application booklet/PDF submitted via the portal. But I just want to make things as easy as possible for you - so here's a mini-portfolio page (within my wider portfolio) that's specifically pertinent to the works submitted in the application. residency video - trial sonosaic

You'll have seen consistent references to 'Sonosaics' in my application booklet. This 1-minute video is an insight into what they may look like. 'Sonosaic' is a term I've coined for this type of video. Essentially, it's a shortening of 'Sonic' and 'Mosaic'. Simply put, they build a soundscape over a photograph. It's designed to engender a feeling that the viewer is remembering the photo for themselves, even if they haven't seen the video before. This is achieved by combining the sounds likely in the image with historical references and the sounds of a nursing home.
